About Us
'Put Yerng Strolan Kampuchea' is Khmer language for 'We love Cambodia'. This blog is dedicated to pass on the life-changing experiences and observations of the 1st generation Xinmin Scholars who visited Savong Orphanage, Siem Reap, Cambodia for some volunteer work.
Savong Orphanage is a voluntary welfare organisation currently with over 20 orphans living in a small orphanage, just minutes away from the main Savong School, where free education is made possible with donations and income that the owner, Savong, makes each month.

Xinmin Scholars Programme provides a platform for future leaders to learn and cultivate their character and leadership qualities.
From this programme, students get to go out of their comfort zones to be exposed to culture, skills, and the world around them.
Ultimately, they understand:
"Improvement starts with I"
